Prayer Mobilization, Training, & Teamwork – Sharpening our prayers and partnering in prayer
We learn to pray best by praying and prayer is more caught than taught. We want to hone our skills in being an advocate alongside Jesus Himself. But, prayer is not only an individual experience but we are called to join together before God’s Throne in adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. Where two or three are together in His Name, He is in their midst. Jesus told us “…if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.” The Bible tells us that one can put 1,000 to flight but two can put 10,000 to flight—there is multiplied power in agreement. We are called to be His Body, His hands and feet on earth. Psalm 133 explains that the place of commanded blessing is where brothers dwell together in unity. And, Jesus explained that the world would know He had sent us by the love we have for one another. Since prayer is the way we has ordained for us to exercise the authority He has entrusted to us, partnership in prayer is essential in seeing His kingdom coming and His will being done on earth as in heaven.
