Ethne Prayer is a network of networks established in 2004 with the vision of seeing the purpose of God established and flourishing in every people. Ethne Prayer as a movement has 1,000+ members. We see prayer as integral to the Church’s missional strategy. Ethne Prayer is part of the wider Ethne Movement that Celebrates, Assesses, and Accelerates towards the goal of every people group having access to the Gospel.
Our Goal is to see Global Body of Christ informed and effective in Prayer for Unreached Peoples Groups and Kingdom movements to see peoples and nations obedient to Christ.

The Fellowship of Prayer Strategists is an informal fellowship of 400+ like-minded people . We believe prayer is the indispensable key to the unfinished task. As a fellowship, we believe in iron sharpening iron... we share tools and learn from each other. We could be defined as a relational, horizontal, peer group! We all want to grow closer to the Lord and learn from each other. We are more than just a resource... we are a community to pray with. Ethne was formed in 2004 at a Lausanne Conference. Prayer was one of several strands of the organisation organised as working groups. Ongoing training on mobilising prayer for the unreached and meeting and praying together. The wider organisation meets every 3 years. See the NEWS tab for more details.
In 2023, the Ethne movement disbanded, but the Ethne Prayer team resolved to continue under the umbrella of International Prayer Connect. Winnie Ochieng is our Director.
